Celebrating Morris’ lifelong love of nature, the Hidden Treasures Volume II collection does much more than amplify echoes from the past. It transforms them into elegant interior design classics that add distinct character to the walls of any home.
Although it’s well over 100 years since he passed, iconic English designer William Morris continues to have a profound influence on contemporary design. With Hidden Treasures Volume 2, a series of previously unseen Morris sketches have been faithfully recreated by Midbec Tapeter.
Ceiling was designed by Morris in 1877 specifically for the self-same surface. It’s more formal, geometric pattern features a larger, central floral motif, branches, and leaves woven together to create a hypnotic backdrop. Seen here in two-tone green.
