How do you smooth the wallpaper?

I love the look of the wallpaper but can't smooth out the bubbles. The crushed chyrstals are coming off as I try to smooth it out.

Hi Ellen,

We recommend using a proper smoothing tool, like a smoothing brush to ensure there aren't any air bubbles. We also have a tutorial on how to hang wallpaper on our Youtube channel that may also help, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NmA5hjsG1I

Gorgeous Paper

Beautiful paper. I love the subtle shade of grey/white. The contrasting blue, especially where it's beaded is beautiful. We've had so many compliments on it. The only negative was either the installation. I'm not sure if it's because the contractor was rushing through it or if it's typical. We expected to lose some of the beading during application, however, there are entire chunks missing at some of the seams. I'm not sure if we hired a so so contractor. Also, there are some beads on the underside of the paper which can be seen and felt. Again, not sure if it's typical of this kind of paper or just a poor rush job. That aside, I love the paper and looks very elegant in our dining room.
